About Sophie

Hi, I’m Sophie, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in both their education and future careers. I have over three years of experience working in childcare and understand that every student learns differently.

I have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Certificate III in Business, a Certificate II and Certificate III in Health Support Services, a Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation, my Swimming and Water Safety Teacher qualification, and I hold current First Aid and CPR certifications. I am also currently studying my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

I was honored to be selected as a Regional Finalist in the Queensland Training Awards, recognizing my commitment to vocational education and training. I have completed both a school-based traineeship and an apprenticeship pathway, giving me firsthand experience balancing school, work and further education.

Growing up with parents who work as a Careers Counselor and a VET Studies Coordinator has given me valuable insight into apprenticeships, traineeships, certificate courses and career pathways. I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their learning, prepare resumes and job applications, and make informed decisions about their education and future careers. My goal is to provide friendly, personalized support that helps every student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Sophie! I provide personalised support for both primary and high school students in a friendly, encouraging and supportive environment. For primary students, I can help with maths, English, reading, spelling, homework, assignments, study skills and building confidence across all subjects. For high school students, I offer assistance with resumes, cover letters, job applications, interview preparation, apprenticeships, traineeships, school-based pathways and career planning. I can also help students explore certificate courses and understand their education and career options. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s goals, helping them gain confidence, stay organised and achieve their best.
