About Laura
I am a fourth year student of English Literature and Italian at the University of Edinburgh. I have been teaching English and Maths online for over two years, and started teaching French and Italian in 2017. I have taught 16 students since 2016 and have consistently received 5 star reviews. I studied Maths and French for A Level, and have spent the past year studying in Italian in Rome.

My teaching method is largely pupil based; I first establish areas that the pupil finds more difficult or would like to improve on. From that point we work together to achieve a goal, be it a certain grade or just a deeper overall understanding of the subject. I tend to work alongside the school syllabus, so that every topic or area can be covered as necessary. With English Literature, the key to understanding a text is through discussion, so the sessions will be interactive and require the student to engage with themes and ideas.
