About Gemma
I’m an experienced teacher with a real passion for helping students feel confident and capable in their learning. Over the years, I’ve worked across several curricula and taught a wide range of students, each with their own goals and challenges. What I love most is seeing that moment when something clicks — when a student truly understands, not just remembers. After years in the classroom, I wanted to create a space where learning could be fully personalized. Tutoring allows me to slow down, focus on what you need, and design lessons that match your goals and pace. I love being able to give detailed, meaningful feedback and help students see steady progress from week to week. More than anything, I want my students to feel supported, motivated, and proud of what they can achieve.

This approach ensures you build knowledge progressively and retain what you learn. I provide detailed, curriculum-aligned feedback on all writing tasks, including: • A breakdown of the grade achieved • Targeted next steps to reach the next grade bracket My goal is to help you develop a deep understanding of the content — not just memorize it — and to feel confident applying your learning independently.
