About Nicola
I have successfully worked as a primary school teacher in schools and a tutor in people's homes for over twenty years. I have a Bachelor of Education degree and have recently completed online certification to teach English as a Foreign Language and also to teach Business English.

I ensure that my lessons are fun and tailor them to the individual student. My first lesson involves an informal, mostly verbal baseline assessment where I can establish needs and begin to develop rapport with the learner. Moving forward, the lessons will address the identified needs and provide reinforcement activities to ensure retention. Depending on the learning style of the student, the lessons may involve games, reading, talking or practical tasks, with the whole session dedicated to building knowledge and confidence around the chosen subject.
