About Fred
I taught English to adults and kids for nearly two years in Kyoto, Japan.
I've worked in TV media for over 10 years primarily as an Assignment Editor for a TV news station for 6 of those years.
In company environments I've worked in IT, construction coordinating various projects so teaching English in a business setting is a natural for me
I like to write about my experiences in Japan, to travel and be with my dog and wife.

I use a communicative approach where I create a space where the student feels comfortable speaking.
I also believe in customizing lessons to each individual student. I use roleplays, power point files as tools in my lessons,
My lessons are for beginners to advanced students. I also believe learning should be fun!
