About Faris Nazrin
My name is Faris, and I am an English teacher with a diploma in education and seven years of experience. I chose to teach English because I believe it is a language that connects people across borders and cultures. It is the most widely used international language, which makes it an essential skill for communication when traveling or working abroad. On a personal level, I see English as one of the most beautiful and powerful languages in the world. Through its literature, it carries stories, ideas, and emotions that shape the way we understand life. Literature, in particular, teaches us empathy and reminds us of our shared humanity. For me, teaching English is not just about grammar and vocabulary. It is about giving students the tools to communicate, to appreciate beauty in language, and to grow into more empathetic, thoughtful individuals.

I believe learning is most effective when students feel seen, heard, and supported. As a teacher with seven years of experience both in and outside of schools, and with a diploma in education, I’ve learned that academic growth comes from nurturing the whole student—not just their grades. My personal approach to tutoring focuses on building a safe, encouraging environment where students can explore, question, and express themselves confidently.
I am deeply passionate about literature and use it as a tool to spark curiosity, connect ideas, and make lessons engaging. I tailor my methods to each student’s interests and learning style, ensuring they feel motivated and invested in their own progress. With emotional intelligence and care at the core of my teaching, I strive to guide students not only toward academic achievement but also toward becoming more confident, thoughtful, and independent learners.
