About Simeon
I am completely bilingual in French and English and with a fairly acceptable working knowledge of German, in case of necessity and occasional recourse tcomparing the styles and structures of different languages, especially European languages including English..Still on the issues of comparing styles and regional accents, my students will be at home in Quebec where I domiciled for7 years till my PhD, in France, Belgium as well as other francophone countries. This is because language mastery involves integrating easily into other variants.
Finally, I am an author of an appreciable number of publications and books. Eg, CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN TRANSLATION AND BILINGUALISM, distributed here in North America by Amazon.

The students stand a chance of feeling, living and experiencing the French language and culture through oral expressions by mimic, repetition through individual, then collective contact as necessary. The classical stages of moving from oral to written will be observed for maximum effect. Then there will be graded textual study an analysis which is usually called EXPLICATION DE TEXTE. Such texts must be drawn from different themes and situations.
Oral and written comprehension as well as interactions with francophone settings will follow for a real bain de..langue (language birth). This can also be achieved to appropriate electronics and media devices.
