About Brian
I have been teaching and examining Maths at GCSE, A-level and Undergraduate level for over 30 years. I have had excellent results with turning around students who have had terrible Maths results and finished up with very good passes at A-level. With Physics I really try to emphasise how Physics is firmly rooted in observations that can be made at home. I also put the elements of Physics in a historical context which tends not to be done in text books. If I teach someone Physics they know something about who the people were or built this edifice, from Archimedes through to Newton, Rutherford and Einstein. I teach from home or online.

A great deal of practice completing examination questions. Much like passing an instrument exam really. Starting by tackling common weaknesses in fundamental maths practice gets easier. With success in a few questions comes a great deal more enjoyment.

Brian makes "A" Level maths interesting and enjoyable for my daughter who was struggling with her confidence after disappointing first year results. He uses his vast experience to help his students overcome areas of difficulty and makes the learning experience enjoyable.
