About Tutoring
My name is Ian. I have worked in schools for 18 years having taught, English, Drama, Cooking and many other subjects. I am a qualified SENDCo and have helped many students with additional needs smash through boundaries in order to achieve. I have additional qualifications that enable learning to be delivered in a person centred way. I am here because I believe in the abilities of all young people and want to help you grow in learning and for your exciting future.

I believe that learning in a 1:1 approach should be tailored to the individual and not the subject matter. Learning can be fun and creative and allowed to be "out of the box" teaching. Technology can be a great tool to help with all forms of learning as can the old fashioned approach of pen and paper or questioning and answering. My approach to tutoring is that it is all about you!!!
