Every lesson is personalised to your child’s needs and focuses on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and spelling using a structured literacy approach. Lessons are hands-on, engaging, and designed to suit different learning styles. Sessions are usually one hour, depending on what works best for the learner.
I am an experienced primary school teacher and tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience. I have worked with children aged 5–14 years, as well as adults learning English (ESOL), supporting pronunciation, vocabulary development, and conversational confidence. I take time to get to know each learner and design a clear, supportive programme to meet their individual needs.
For parents whose children may be finding learning challenging, please be reassured that I place a strong emphasis on building confidence, reducing anxiety, and celebrating progress. I focus on learners’ strengths, keep sessions positive and encouraging, and work hard to ensure students feel supported, capable, and motivated to succeed.
