About Mandy
I have spent 22 years in the classroom. Most of that time has been at the 9-12 level, although I also have a few years of experience in middle school and college. I love being able to have fun with students while I teach. I have three dogs, two college age children, and I love to talk! I have my masters in literacy education and am an avid reader.

Inquiry based teaching. I will assess where the student is and go from there. I want to know what you know and help you in areas that you need support. I am energetic and tend to use humor a lot. I love laughing at myself as I explore unknown areas of education. I am comfortable primarily with middle school and high school curriculum; however, I feel confident that I could help with most undergraduate writing or language arts courses, as well.
