About Astha
In my classes, we don’t just wait to “finish the basics” before drawing something interesting. Instead, I combine essential techniques with beautiful, creative exercises right from the start. This way, students learn the fundamentals of shading, proportion, and textures while actually creating drawings they enjoy. I believe learning should never feel boring. That’s why every lesson balances practice of core skills with real artwork — whether it’s still life, nature, portraits, or imaginative sketches. Over my 6+ years of teaching, I’ve seen that students stay more motivated when they can apply techniques immediately and watch their drawings improve session by session.
