About Christian
Hi, I'm Christian, an experienced secondary teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience and more than 5 years of private tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals while building confidence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
I specialize in History, Geography, and English for students in Years 7–12, with particular expertise in HSC Ancient History, Modern History, Extension History, and Geography. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all ability levels, from those needing additional support to high-achieving students aiming for top results.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should be engaging, enjoyable, and purposeful. I focus on developing the skills and processes that lead to long-term success, rather than relying on memorization alone. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs, ensuring they receive targeted support and practical strategies they can apply both in the classroom and beyond.

My tutoring approach focuses on making learning engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful while building the skills students need for long-term success. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and ability level, with an emphasis on developing confidence, critical thinking, and effective study habits. Sessions are a minimum of one hour in length. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, 5 years of private tutoring experience, and have also worked as an Indigenous tutor at university level. I cater for students in Years 7–12 across all ability levels.
