About Mitisha

My passion lies in teaching! I have been a teacher for 10 years, but even before that, I loved to mentor and support individuals in anyway that I could. If you need guidance in anything, I am more than happy to provide you with my support. I am also friendly, kind, encouraging and motivating so each of our sessions will be fun and you (or your child!) will always feel so much better once they have had a lesson with me :)

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Mitisha and I am a fully qualified teacher for the past ten years. I offer online and in person tuition for children aged 5-11 years. I provide tailored and engaging lessons that are appropriate for you/your child's needs. I also provide lessons for adults too, focusing on English and developing your confidence! I am friendly, kind, encouraging and most of all fun - every lesson will be different and engaging in various different ways.

For tuition lessons for children:

- I offer tuition in all subjects of the English National Curriculum.

- Fully Enhanced DBS Check

- I offer tuition based on the KS2 SATs tests - which all children will sit in Year 6.

- I can prepare your child for the statutory Multiplication Tables Check Online Test that children will sit at the end of Year 4.

- I also offer tuition for children whose learning has been impacted by education disruption as a result of the pandemic.

- I also offer 'Active Recovery' sessions for children which help children and young people to boost their health and physical and mental wellbeing.

- I can also support children and adults in their learning of English, if they are new to, and are currently learning, the English Language. If you are an adult who is new to the English language, please get in touch!

For adults:

- As mentioned above, I can guide and support you in any way that you require. Maybe you might need to develop in your English, or you need support filling out a job application. Maybe you would like me to proof read something you have written and offer my guidance and support? Whatever you need, I am sure I can help you :)

- I can tutor in person in the Shoreditch and Aldgate areas.

- I am also able to tutor online - my services are available for those who live in the UK and worldwide.

Payments:
If you would like in person sessions - £50 per session
If you would prefer online sessions - £40 per session

This payment covers the planning of an in depth lesson, tailored to the needs of your child (or adult).

Depending on the type of session covered, I may also give your children home work too.

Hi! Just to clarify lesson prices:

£50 per session for in person sessions around Shoreditch, London.

I can travel to you if it is outside this area - but I will have to add in a £10 travel cost (this may increase depending on where you would me to travel to). We can speak about this in more detail - message me.

£40 per session for online sessions.

If there is something in particular you would like help with that I haven't listed above, I might be able to help you and the rate can be negotiable. Let's chat!

I do offer 30mins (online only) for free - but this will not be an actual lesson, it will just be for us to have a chat about what you need, get to know each other and we can see if we get on well and whether you would like to book lessons :)
