About Jayamuniswari
I am a graduate in the social science field majoring in Anthropology and Sociology from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). I am currently working as a teacher at Arus Academy and teach young students how to do coding and programming! I have taught one-to-one lessons for students for the subjects Bahasa Malaysia and English since 2017. I love teaching students and being around them puts me in a happy mood. I believe in creating a safe relationship with my students to ensure that the students are comfortable in interacting with me and with that they can enjoy the class. I have always empowered my students that they don't have to compare their grades with their friends but with their ownself based on the progress that they have made along the way. Even a little progress is a BIG progress and I make sure to celebrate it with them!

I tailor lessons to individual needs, ensuring rapid progress and lasting comprehension. I carefully select and prepare the materials before the class to ensure it matches my student's level of understanding. I also incorporate the usage of few online learning platforms as well as visual aids to keep the class going in an interactive and engaging manner.
I believe in listening to the students to understand their needs and give effective instructions while empowering students to achieve their academic goals with confidence.
My lessons are typically for students aged between 4 years old to 16 years old.
