About John
I am an experienced English teacher with a love of literature, reading and writing and I love teaching people how to speak English in a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. I focus on conversational English, but will also correct, guide and steer your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation with the goal of constantly improving your English until you reach the fluency you need for your work, travel or pleasure. I also speak Spanish and Irish.

I teach conversational classes with a focus on practicality and fluency. Through spoken exercises (as well as written exercises to practice in your own time) I will improve your grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary and will help raise your level and get you speaking like a native english speaker. My background is in television and radio and I can help to improve your pronunciation and accent and hopefully have you speaking english naturally and fluently in no time. Typical classes are 1 hour long. I have a TEFL qualification from the University of Galway in Ireland, a BA from the University of Galway, an MA in Literature from University College Dublin and an MA in Journalism from Dublin Institute of Technology. All levels catered for.
