About Cassandra
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I speak 4 languages and am always learning and discovering new things each day. I’m a mother to a child with special needs so I know what taking time with understanding things means for different learners and love to help others understand things in ways normal methods can’t.

1. Teaching Method and Techniques

2. A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
Warm-up/Review (5-10 mins): Quick review of previous material or a fun, educational icebreaker to build rapport.
Objective Setting (2 mins): Clearly defining the "SMART" goal for the session (e.g., "By the end of this session, you will be able to solve for X".).
Direct Instruction/Modeling (10-15 mins): Introducing new concepts through interactive dialogue, visual aids, or digital tools.
Guided Practice (20 mins): The student solves problems with real-time feedback and scaffolding from the tutor.
Independent Practice/Application (10 mins): Student applies the concept alone to demonstrate mastery.
Wrap-up & Reflection (5 mins): Discussing what was learned and assigning targeted, brief homework.
