About Eva
The art of Acting is magical. I have been acting my entire life in films and onstage and studied many different acting methods in Europe and the US. Actors are brave and can change the world with their art, by touching people's hearts and souls, creating compassion for a character's tragic flaw and peculiar habits and enlighten a story with laughter and humor. This is a fun and gentle class, where actors can experiment freely and expand the range of characters they can portray. We act with other actors all over the world and classes are kept small (max 8 people)

I love helping people flow, discover the joy of acting and have fun.
I was asked many years ago to start teaching, but it never came from it. The pandemic changed my mind and I enjoy guiding my fellow actors now. The archetypes & improvisation workshop is something I created, based on the archetypes of Jung. This system works and helps actors expand the range of characters they can portray. I will share techniques and practical insights I've learned during my career.
I studied 4 years Acting and Diecting in the Netherlands, and studied 10 years method acting with Susan Batson. I am also passionate about the Michael Chekhov technique. I have acted in more than 45 films, so you will learn from an actual actress.

I usually invite you to a free group class that I am already teaching, so you can see if you like it and if it is the right fit.
Intermediate and professional actors seem to like my classes best, although I also attract quite a few students who are less experienced, but who are very open, intuitive and smart.
You should feel comfortable with the teacher and the group.

$80 for a private.
If you join a group class it is $25 per class, with a discount if you sign up for 4 classes ($80 for 4 classes). First group class is free if you sign up for the newsletter of the Avant-garde Acting Studio.
