About Evelyn
I started acting at a very young age during elementary school and graduated from High School majoring in Dramatic Arts. Later went on to major in Theater in college, along with voice for the stage and diction. I completed numerous one on one courses with great teachers such as Ann Panaro in Miami/Acting for the Camera and Acting for Commercials. I was then accepted to join the Prometeo Theater Group in Miami and was with the group for 6 years participating in special events like the Hispanic Theater Festival and Drama Week in Miami.
I have relocated to NYC and have had the pleasure of being a part of the Afterwork Theater Group as well as completed studied at the amazing The Acting Studio. Specializing in the Meisner Texhnique, Scene Study and Monologue Work.

EVERYTHING! It is what gets me up in the morning and puts a smile on my face before bed at night. Acting is a passion, it truly comes from within.
Watching the students I have taught come out of their shells and explore things they never knew they had is an amazing experience.
Sharing my love for acting has been a passion of mine which led me to start a creative Theater Class titled "Pandora's Box."
I also teach a Meisner Technique Actor Workshop offered monthly, and one on one private coaching, sponsored by Halo Arts Miami in Wynwood, Miami, FL currently being held via Zoom.
I started acting at a very young and graduated from High School majoring in Dramatic Arts. Later went on to major in Theater Performing Arts in college. I was then accepted to join the Prometeo Theater Group in Miami, and was with the amazing theater group for 8 years.
I relocated to NYC and have had the pleasure of being a part of the AfterWork Theater Group and have completed the Acting for Professionals with Donald Garverick, Director of THE OFFICE Parody an Off Broadway production. A must see!
I am most proud of having been accepted to the renowned Acting Studio, completing the Meisner Intense Acting Conservatory, as well as their Monologue and Scene Study Programs. This rigorous training allowed me to continue to perform on off broadway productions and script reading throughout the city.

Depending on the type of experience the student might have, I like to start with a series of fun games to challenge the mind and some fun improve excersices. Then transition into the exciting stuff such as Meisner Repetition to work on impulses, character dossiers, monologue work, and scene study.
I have to say I have had extreme fun with all ages. Love the creativity and lack of self conciousness of young children, as well as watching young adults and older adults come out of their shell and explore things inside of them they never knew they had!
Acting is a passion, it comes from within and is the need to bring characters to life from the words on a page written by someone's imagination. If your selected teacher does not show that passion, you will not absorb what is needed to be learn from the craft. :-)
May 30, 2018. What would have marked the 21st birthday of my very talented Daughter Mia Angeli, she was a singer and an angel for sure, but has gone on to join the heavens. What made it memorable even more is that my son took it upon himslef to ensure that that day was not a sad one, but rather a joyous one by proposing to his wonderful girlfriend in Coney Island. It was quite the day! :-)
