About Armando
One very special feature of this program is that we first teach you how to overcome nervousness and shyness before you even think of acting. Actors used to be called players for a reason. We play the greatest game that we used to play as children, the game of pretend. In order to truly get lost in this game, nervousness and shyness MUST be overcome. Our motto is, "if we're not having fun, then we're doing something wrong".
Ever wonder what the difference is between regular acting and Academy award winning acting? The answer is "feeling". Never "act" like a character but "become" the character by lending your real feelings and emotions. We achieve this through the method called "Psychological Realism".
You will learn how find your own emotional triggers in order to access your true emotions instantly so as to apply them to the character and the moment in order to tell the story in the most truthful manner using your whole mind, body and soul.
Acting is an opportunity to be anything or anyone even if it's just for a little while.
