About Mark
I teach custom to my students. I prefer one-on-one or one-on-three to keep the classes small and keep the sylabus organic to meet the goals and needs of the students. Everyone usually has some context - but it is often different than the next person's experience or context. I 'fill in the gaps' where they exist and not teach you what you already know.
As a director, script writer, actor, comic, and filmmaker - I love seeing GOOD talent. To help in anyway I can just helps the overall quality acting scene in Indy and surrounding areas.
I feel the best way to keep things sharp is to pass it along - the ability to articulate what I know only cements it personally and helps me improve as well.
I've received training from comedy coaches in L.A., Second City in Chicago, Whole World Theatore in Atlanta, and Story training from New York. Each was an in-person training.

First we establish goals and expectations. Then we put a sylabus and time-table together. We then establish price. Once we start classes - we continue to evaluate the remaining classes and add/remove based on our discovery together.
From teenages to seasoned adults.
Make sure they have hands-on experience and professional experience - not just knowledge. This art form is more caught than taught.
I am co-founder of a new arts campus opening in Shelbyville, IN this fall. Super excited to see this black box theater come to life.
