About Russ
Russ has dedicated his life to a love of acting. His unwavering devotion to the craft has earned him a lifetime of experience on stage and on camera, and built a successful career of both performing and coaching for over two decades. But it is the passion, not the resulting success, that really sets him apart. Russ LOVES what he does, and he LOVES sharing it. His delight in acting for the sake of acting has kept his approach youthful and unpretentious, and he delights in it just as much today as he did when he discovered his obsession at age 10.
He holds a BFA and MFA in theatre arts, has studied the nearly-lost art of physical theater, is a Shakespeare EXPERT who is highly sought after for clearing the confusion and breathing new life into classic theater.
Russ has appeared in over 60 commercials, in major recurring roles on several hit television shows, done theatre all over the world, helped Disney develop in-park entertainment, and starred in a live Disney musical for 11 years.
He has coached students of all ages and all skill levels, and loves fine-tuning developed talent as much as introducing a complete novice of any age to the joy of acting.
