About Cody
I originated the role of Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid on Broadway, toured the US with the Radio City Rockettes, and co-stared in the feature film Hounddog with Dakota Fanning. I have been performing in community theatre since I was 3 years old and started my professional career at 10. I met my wife in a community theatre production of A Chorus Line. We now have to kids and live in Orlando, FL area. I have directed at theme parks and local theatres all over the US.
I will help my students grow as actors in all fields whether that be on stage or with a camera in their face. I will give them the tools and the resources they need to feel confident and prepared for anything. My goal is to lead my students in the right direction in this industry. I want them help them achieve their dreams in acting where ever that may be.
Being a child actor and growing up in this industry I wanted to be able to pass along what I learned and experienced to other actors who were just starting out. This is a tough business to make a career out of and I want to help my students do so.
I have been doing community theatre since I was 3. Started my professional career at ten. I have worked with Disney, Fox, Empire Films, Radio City, and Six Flags. For Disney I originated the role of Flounder in the Little Mermaid on Broadway, also sparked the creative process of Disney’s Newsies on Broadway by writing a synopsis on how the feature film could be adapted into a broadway musical. They went with my ideas and hired me as a consultant. I also wrote and directed shows at one of the top performing theme parks in the US, Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Provide them with scene work. Work with them on cold reading first. Then work through the scene looking at every line and sub text to figure out what we are doing, who we are, and how we feel. Then work with them like it was an audition. Teach them a slate and how to conduct oneself in an audition.

Recently I got to relive my experiences in The Little Mermaid by getting the chance to direct the show at my old community theatre I use to perform at as a kid. It was fun being on the other side of the process and also getting to make the show as close to when I was in it as possible.
