I am a medical student and I have two years of private tutoring experience from primary school age through to year 10. English is my passion but I also enjoy teaching maths and sciences to students up to year 9.

My teaching method is tailored to the needs of the student and parents. My first session is about getting to know the goals of the parent and student so we can be team.
My goal is to teach students how to learn according to their learning style, strengths and weakness. I teach students how to enjoy their learning and as a result, how to achieve higher grades and succeed in their academic life.
Sessions will usually include elements of recall/testing, repetition of key concepts and assistance with a new idea/topic. Lessons are structured for consistency but structured differently based on the individual student.
I believe in working with the parent and the student to establish a routine for them that sets the student up for success.
Hourly rate varies dependent on student age needs and requirements.
