About Michael
I have been Coaching at High School Varsity level for the last 7 years. High School's I have been the Head Coach at and Assistant are Trivium Preparatory, St. Mary's High School, Cactus Shadows High School, and Brophy College Preparatory. I was a ShortStop who bats Left Handed up until my professional career as a Pitcher. I am CPR certified as well as hold my fingerprint clearance Public Safety Card.
Baseball is not an easy sport nor an overnight sport. I enjoy making it as easy and simple as possible. Building confidence in each player to be successful in the level they want to reach. I am ambidextrous which allows me to relate to every player. Whether they are left handed throwing or right handed throwing. I value my time and the players time I want to make every session build off the last one. We work on armcare, balance, data, video, conditioning, mobility, visualization and the mental side of the game.

Coach Nunez has a great understanding of pitching mechanics. He can teach your kid how to locate pitches, how to command multiple pitches, and how to increase fastball velocity.
But, he has an even better ability to connect with kids at their level and in their space. He is the reason my kid got a scholarship and the chance to keep playing baseball at the NCAA level.Mike was instrumental in developing our son from a Junior who did not make varsity to 6a starter, 6a all star, D-1 recruit and now a college pitcher! Mike is great about identifying and then building upon individual strengths and customizing training to each individual. We would 100% recommend Baseball Preparatory and Mike!!
