About Matthew
NATIONWIDE COVERAGE! We provide CPR, First Aid, BLS, and other healthcare-related training through three organizations, the American Heart Association (AHA), the American Red Cross (ARC), and the American Safety & Health Institute. We deliver industry-leading training and state-of-the-art CPR/AED, First Aid, and other life-saving programs customized for hospitals, schools, offices, private homes, clinics, corporations and non-profit groups.
Matthew Arpino, our founder, and owner, started his medical career as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at a Volunteer Ambulance Corps. As a volunteer EMT, he had the opportunity to become an American Heart Association BLS Instructor. Matthew later became an instructor for the American Red Cross and the American Safety & Health Institute as well.
The majority of Life Saver Training's instructors are EMTs, Nurses, OTs, PTs, and other allied healthcare professionals.

First, we speak to the client to see what type of training they need. Some clients are mandated by a regulating authority to hold a CPR or First Aid certification. In that case, we verify that the client will receive the correct certification from an approved accrediting organization. Once we confirm the correct course and price, we schedule the training!

Make sure you are getting the correct certification! We have a lot of students who call us saying their school or employer will not accept the certification card because it's not American Heart or American Red Cross, etc. - There are different organizations who will offer similar classes and certifications. HOWEVER, students that are required/mandated to take a training course should check with the authority requiring the training to see if they need a certification from a SPECIFIC organization such as AHA, ARC, or ASHI. Renewal students may look at their current or expired certification card to see what organization they were previously accredited by.
