My 13 year old son, who had no basketball experience, started working with Marvin in February 2023. Marvin helped develop him into a starter for his JV basketball team. Marvin’s attention to detail is second to none. He focused on building my son from the ground up. Starting with dribbling, learning correct footwork, and moving into timed drills, Marvin laid out a plan for success. My son quickly learned that he had to accept responsibility for his growth by practicing what he learned from each lesson. Marvin is patient and won’t move on to something new until he knows the student has a clear understanding of the current skill. By seasons end, it was clear to see my son had the most fundamentally sound shot on the team. That is because of Shot Lab. Seeing the player my son has become over the last year is a true testament to “The Teacher,” Marvin Harvey.

I love how Mr Harvey takes his time and explain to my son the different types of ways to shoot. He corrects him when he’s wrong and acknowledges him when he’s right.
