About Katie
Hi, I'm a recent college graduate with a B.S. in Biomedical Science with a minor in Neuroscience. Throughout my years of schooling, I have learned one thing: resilience and adaptability are the keys to reaching a successful goal.
Road bumps are a part of life, but they aren't the end of the world, I speak from experience. I hope to encourage my future clients to adapt and overcome these road bumps and hopefully find a way to help with finding different styles of learning.
I love teaching students about things I enjoy learning myself. I love seeing the "lightbulb moment" go off in my students as I teach them and grow with them.
I have a B.S. in Biomedical Science with a minor in Neuroscience and would love to teach others about what I find exciting. As a person striving to learn more day to day, studying is another part of my life, so I have plenty of experience of what students are going through.

I usually sit down with a student and find out what their style of learning is before anything else. If that isn't known at the time, we'll figure it out together. Then, I will let the student talk about their struggles and try to pinpoint where their real weaknesses are and discuss how to fix them with the student. From there, we will move on to the tutoring part, but I will be there every step of the way and adjust if something isn't working.
