About Zhanelle
My goal is to get students where they want to be. Whether that's passing a class or exam, or looking into the future toward dream schools and jobs, I put myself in your shoes! I am passionate about you achieving what you set out to do. Seeking tutoring is an admirable step no matter what that goal is.
I was contacted by a startup company that was designed to connect tutors with students all around the world. One of my most memorable students was a young lady from Hong Kong who was preparing for college entrance exams.
As a big sister though, I've been helping with all kinds of homework assignments for almost a decade now.
I have about 3 years of as needed tutoring experience in math, physics, and writing at elementary and early high school levels.
I also have a few years experience in professional recruiting which I incorporate for any student looking to prepare for professional interactions (interviews, job readiness, and college applications).

An intial "consultation" call or meeting always helps clarify goals and expectations.
Within each session, I check for understanding and comfort level with the material and my delivery.
I typically close a session by recapping and asking for feedback. I believe any tutoring is a team effort and we must all do our best to communicate clearly and stay on the same page.
