I approach the lessons through a series of pedagogical steps that provide a foundation of traditional techniques in drawing and painting.Practicing and discussing concepts of flat shape block-in, anatomy, structure and perspective as they relate to the subject, paint handling and color mixing. I will employ a combination of demonstrations and individual critiques to guide you to meet individual goals.

Philippe Attie is an artistic painter with great reputation where sense of humor, perspicacity & patience intermingle to mold him into a good teacher. As his former student I would say that his expertise allowed me to build a solid foundation that will continue to guide me & certainly lead me on the path of success.
He was very attentive
He worked with my crazy schedule, I have a very packed schedule. He explained everything clearly throughout the lesson. He speaks french and Creole which helped me understand the class better for English is not my first language.
