About Nelly
I love the feeling knowing you're starting something that may be intimidating because you think it's too hard but then that confidence rises and you forget why you were scared of trying.
I recently moved to Texas to further my education to become an Art teacher. I am taking a year off before I start my graduate program to prepare myself in many ways. Art is my passion so I still create daily, I also get a commission for portraits of all ages and pet portraits.
I have education in Fine Arts, I graduated from Kansas State University in Dec 2018. I have been doing custom portraits and pet portraits in traditional media for a year. The traditional mediums I use and know very well are watercolor, oil, acrylic, and charcoal on paper and canvas.

I like to take steps into how we can grow artistically. By establishing what our goals are and what we want to come out of the effort we are putting in. Knowing the students strengths and weaknesses is helpful for me to make a plan that is catered to the student so they can get the most benefits.
