About Shanel
I love art! My favorite part about it is blending colors! I've learned to blend colors beautifully over the past 5 years and I love teaching others how to do the same, while encouraging one's own unique style.
I love seeing student's happy faces and that great feeling of accomplishment after completing a project or painting! I've been teaching painting courses for 5 years now through various paint and sip parties throughout Chicago and have learned how to work with all ages. There was a need for an art teacher at a local paint and sip company that I feeled and from there I've been teaching for 5 years.
I have taken classes at my university and a community college in drawing 101 and 102 and painting 101. Additionally I've taken up courses from other trained artists and have been leading paint classes for 5 years now.
