Larissa Marantz is an amazing artist and teacher. As the mother of one of her students I highly recommend Larissa. She started private lessons with our son in his 6th grade year. Not not only was she able to successfully mentor our son to gain acceptance to OCSA where he attended for grades 7-12 in the Visual Arts Conservatory but she was also an integral part of him attaining other life and academic goals. One of which was becoming an Eagle Scout and the other was being accepted to an Ivy League school (Dartmouth College). Even though he is majoring in Chemistry he continues to apply the things Larissa taught him about drawing, color, technique, light, space, texture and more to his everyday life. She built a lasting relationship with our family and I know she certainly challenges and inspires all of her students to reach or exceed their goals. She is a magnificent person, teacher and artist. She is talented, committed, fun and her energy and passion for the arts is contagious.

Larissa is passionate about teaching and meets the student at their current level. She is positive and motivates my son to experiment with his art.
