Josh is always easy to be around and is able to form any lesson around what I wanted to do, as well as teach me loads of new ideas if I hadn’t planned anything. He has greatly helped improve my own production and give me insight into what professional producers do to set themselves apart. He’s great to work with and always in an uplifting mood.

Josh is a wonderful teacher, he is always energizing and engaging, my son enjoys and look forward to his lessons every week, and he is learning solid technique with Josh, expanding his styles along the way, Josh is so versatile he is capable of teaching any style with ease, we are thrilled with our son’s progress! Josh is always punctual, in case of exceptions, he always communicate in advance, there are detailed notes written on manuscript so there is no confusion as to what to practice for that week. He also communicate with the parents about the lesson each week, we really appreciate the fact that Josh is also a super talented and accomplished performing and recording artist, his insight into stage presence and music production put his teaching on another level, I am sure his expertise will enrich and help prepare my son’s musical career further! Josh is a fantastic teacher and seriously impressive drummer who knows an incredible amount about music theory and is able to teach it in an interesting way. He mixes important technique basics with song playing for a really awesome and fun yet still educational experience. Learning from Josh is awesome because he himself is a passionate drummer and musician who actually performs live frequently. I myself had no drumming experience before coming to Josh but he would also be a great teacher for experienced drummers looking to take their drumming and performing to the next level.

Josh is extremely patient and is happy to work at whatever pace I set. I asked to learn drums “the right way” so we spend a lot of time on fundamentals and lying down a good skill base which I appreciate. But he always leaves time to work on whatever song I’m working on as well. Awesome dude and could not recommend him more highly.
