About Randy
I am an experienced teacher who is detail-oriented, patient, and outgoing. I will custom my tutoring sessions to meet the needs of your learner. I offer one time tutoring sessions as well as regular continuous tutoring sessions. My passion for teaching and learning shows in my work as I approach it through a hands on approach.
I love watching students succeed and develop their skills in Language Arts.
I began teaching right after college. I have been in education since 2014. It is my passion and I enjoy working with students and watching their learn and grow.
I graduated from Kent State University in 2014 with my Degree in Integrated Language Arts 7-12.
I graduated from Ashland University in the summer of 2020 with my Master's in Education.
I am currently a teacher and hold a certified state licensure that enables me to teach in the public sector. Additionally, I am a a Level 1 Google Educator.

I personalize my instruction based on the needs of the student. I always start with a Needs Assessment to identify key elements of the student's learning preferences. From there, I develop an action plan to tackle the goals and objectives of the session. Last, I require students to apply their knowledge through application. I like to end every session with a student self reflection to evaluate their learning.
I have worked with an array of students and have experience tailoring and differentiating my instruction to meet the needs of the individual student.
