We had a very good experience with this center. Teatash and the staff were very accommodating to our requests of leaving the worksheets in the outside bin when I couldn’t take my kid to kumon. They went out of their way to help. My child learned concepts quickly and climbed up levels fast. I surely will recommend this Kumon center.

I was hesitant to send my daughter to kumon at first because I had heard they give too much homework, but I'm glad I enrolled her. She has benefitted from the program so much! We had been with this center for more than 2 years. Teatash and her staff were wonderful, helpful, and very flexible with our needs. My kids improved a lot academically since we enrolled. Kumon is a good way to provide lots of repetition practices, which we believe it's essential to be success in early math. If we hadn't have to move, we would have stayed longer with them.

My son has been in Kumon since he was 3 years old. Since that time, he has advanced far beyond me and my wife's expectations and it is all a testament to the dedicated staff at Kumon East. My son registered for Math program in Kumon east Columbia about 6 years go. The moment he started the program we noticed that he is improving very quickly and that all because the excellent and very detailed program topics, very dedicated and intelligent staff at this location. The level of knowledge he gained throughout the program actually exceeded our expectation as a parent. As he is now in the 9th grade but he completed college level math and very proudly and successfully he completed the program and graduated recently. If any parent want their children to advance in math this is the place to go. Finally I would like to personally thanks tha staff and all teachers for their dedication and hard work.

My daughter has attends Kumon Columbia East and it's one of the best educational decisions we've made. The honest truth is that while Kumon is great, the staff at Columbia East makes it exceptional. Although the curriculum is self-paced, it's amazing to watch how far and quickly she excels. My recommendation is just start your kid with Kumon Columbia East from the start; don't wait until your child runs into difficulty at school.

Our children have been attending the Kumon Math class for 10 months and we recognize their progress of resolving math problems. After 6 months of attending the Kumon Math class, our 10 year-old child moved to an advanced math class at his school. Teachers at the Columbia East Center are supportive. Kumon helped my son with speed while tackling math questions which helped him complete tests on time. The repetition helped with mastering the math facts. He is in GT math because of the foundation he received at Kumon from 3rd grade. My other kids benefited from Math and reading. They started at 4 years old and that built their kindergarten readiness where they were in advance levels from the 1st quarter of kindergarten. It's a lot of work checking the work, but pays off big time. I recommend Kumon to all parents, kids benefit at any age. The Kumon Center - Columbia East has great teachers and the director is awesome and ready to listen and adjust schedules to meet parent needs.

Our son is 2 months shy of turning 6 years old. He began attending Kumon Columbia East as a “Early Learner” for reading at 3 1/2 years old.

In a very short space of time our son was; reciting, recognizing, sounding out, and writing all of his upper and lower case alphabets.

He quickly progressed to recognizing and sounding out consonants, reading words and short sentences. He continues to make great progress towards the next levels of reading and comprehension in Kumon.

Needless to say, we have been very pleased and impressed with his progress thus far. The operator has an open door policy and is always available to talk which I particularly like. She is accommodating and will readily guide you through the process of literacy.

The Kumon method is an excellent way for children to gain an advantage over their ability, academic level and school curriculum. I am looking forward to seeing all the rewards our son will reap from the Kumon Columbia East program.

Our daughter has been going to Kumon Columbia East location for almost a year now before she started her first grade. She is enrolled in both their math and reading programs. The entire staff at this location is very professional, very courteous and dedicated towards their mission to help children reach their maximum potential. We immediately started seeing results with improvement in both her math and reading skills, which also helped her to excel in school. We are very satisfied with the progress our daughter has made within a year and plan to keep her enrolled here for foreseeable future. We were at the Kumon Columbia Center for close to two years. The center is run in a professional manner with right kind of teaching/learning environment to nurture the child’s learning abilities. The center is run in an organized fashion, and whenever the student has doubts in his/her work the teachers at the center are more than eager to help the students out. Teetash was always very responsive in providing the right feedback to my child when needed. In fact, she has been diligent in following up on how the students perform even after they graduate and leave the center. I would highly recommend this center for your child.
