About Leonardo

Hello! I am so grateful that you've stumbled across my profile. Let me tell you a bit about my services.

Holding a Master's Degree in English Literature in English Literature from Temple University, I've maintained over decade's worth of experience assisting joy and understanding of the written word.

I have been awarded the NCA's Outstanding Tutor Award as well as multiple community accolades from my local consultant club.

I truly love sharing the experience of English and helping others overcome challenges within their own course study. Learning is and should always be fun.

I love helping others learn and love the interactive incredible world of literature.

I started teaching while I was still in graduate school as a TA.

I hold a Master's Degree in English Literature and have been tutoring independently for the past 12 years.

About the lesson

I always prioritize getting to know the student first and making them feel comfortable with me. A learning climate should be one of openness and no fear of a silly question.

I personally like to reach out to the school the student attends and asked for a forecast of the curriculum that semester. With parent approval I also like to access the student's grades and test scores (including PSAT). The goal is to keep them on track for the upcoming test while providing for an intensive review of anything they are struggling with.

I have worked with students of all varities! Young, old, and everything in between. It's never too late to be a student :)

I recently traveled to the Scottish Highlands with my fiance and lived there for the summer. It was a life changing experience and has also influenced my current literary interest!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should reflect on what's been challenging them the most, jot it down, and then we can tackle it together until it makes sense and they feel confident. Other than that, just open-minded!
