About Kelly
Hi! I am a third year college student from UCSB who has experience tutoring and working with kids for nearly 5 years! While I am currently working on a degree in Sociology, I am a well rounded Dean's list student who can't wait to meet yours. I was *that* kid in highschool and took 11 APs eventually leading to an academic full ride at my current school. I have experience from ages 3 (working on letters and colors) to high school seniors (prepping college admissions letters or even remedial English). I also have experience teaching students time management skills and studying tips. My teaching style is patient and I understand that kids aren't dumb-- sometimes we just need to mix up how we explain things. I love using games for younger students to keep them engaged and I understand firsthand highschool in this generation. I can't wait to work with you and your student!
