About Kate
I have experience tutoring people of all ages, from kindergarten to college, and even professionals! I have a very relaxed approach that focuses on first getting to know the learning style and preferences of the individual I am helping. I am intentional and focused during our time and will earn your trust as you begin to see your growth. This might sound a little odd, but my favorite moment in tutoring is a bittersweet one! It's that moment when I see the lightbulb go off, and both of us get to celebrate your growth and achievement because we have hit the target goal for you! It's bittersweet because it also means that our time together is complete!
I have a BA in Engish with a focus in rhetoric from Texas A&M University and have worked as a tutor for 3 years (both with a tutoring center and individually) and as a managing editor for a large corporate company that produces science curriculum.
I would love the opportunity to work with you and help you meet your goals!
