About Gretchen

Having a teenage daughter, having a book published, having taught high school and college, and loving writing, I understand teen struggles and enjoy helping teens succeed in expressing themselves.

I have two MS degrees and a Ph.D. I have taught honors English as well as remedial English. I strongly believe in the power of the written word and that all can learn to write effectively.

I love seeing students succeed and begin expressing their thoughts effectively on their own!

Ph.D in education and over 40 years experience teaching high school and university levels of all abilities

About the lesson

1) Talk in person to parents and student

2) Review samples of past work
