About Khawla
I have done a considerable number of tutoring for different age groups. My teaching approach relies heavily on the communicational method and urges the learners to use the target language with confidence. Special attention is given to accurate pronunciation and grammar as well through a variety of exciting interactive practice. My mastery of Arabic, English , French with native-like fluency entitles me to teach these languages with ease and explain the difficult patterns in the learner’s first language.
I love working with people from all sorts of backgrounds and age groups as I really enjoy learning about new cultures and lifestyles. I am sure we will have tons of fun together and that my lessons will help you reach your goals with the French, Arabic or English language.
I have done a lot tutoring in high school until I founded my French and Arabic club with the help of my Spanish teacher. The club was a lot of fun and the experience was life-changing.
I spent most of my life in Morocco and moved to the US two years ago, by myself, where I just graduated on May 21st 2020. However, during these past two years, I founded a French and Arabic club where I taught both of these laguages to my American high school friends that were keen on the idea. I also tutored some of my university friends in Germany that had trouble advancing in their French learning journey! Moreover, I have gained a lot of expereience in this field by watching my parents that are both knowledgeable English teachers.

As a person that has studied in two different educational systems (Moroccan and American), I believe that there are various ways to convey a certain message. Therefore, I usually try to get to know the type of student I am dealing with and whether they are a visual or a verbal learner. Teaching languages also depends on the person's cultural background (and whether they are bilingual) so that also helps me choose among the endless methods I've acquired to get my words across.
I have worked with a multitude of people from all over the world with different backgrounds and personalities. As I mentioned before, I have learned to categorize my students in order to meet their educational needs. The subject I am tutoring also impacts the way I teach. For instance, when I help students with Math, I am more focused on the visual aspect of the problem, whereas when it comes to teaching a language, I am more worried about the auditory part.
A lot of people hesitate to hire new and fairly inexperienced teachers; however, students should look at how flexible, enthusiastic and patient the teacher can be. The younger the person is, the more likely they are to be open-minded and to have the ability to communicate with diverse mentalities. This is important, especially when teaching a language.
