I coach high school football and also play semi pro football and help my teammates with training improvements and I also host my teams OTA'S

First week is what I call hands and feet. We focus on the fundamentals of the position while getting or stamina and speed up to par.
second week we bring cones and other equipment in to help more sense game play reality.
i recommend staying with the program even after season to help improve in your position and to what I call THE STAY WOKE PHASE.
From ages 6 - 19
i also train my semi prob football team
Make sure he knows the game the fundamentals and also have to be great to build a bond with.
