Dan is truly the best. He was my teacher from 6th grade until I left for college, and I can’t think of it being a more fun or rewarding experience. Not to mention this man can shred. I’m sure Dan wanted to cut off my thumb for about 5 years until he decided to accept my incompetence. To sum this up, my abilities increased exponentially throughout my years taking lessons from Dan Randi and he’s definitely responsible for any of my talent today.

I’m a musician. I’ve played piano since I was 5, I sing and I’ve had several guitar teachers in the last few years. Dan is head and shoulders above all the guitar teachers I’ve had. Some can play, some can teach. Dan is that rare guitarist who does both, really well. I have so much fun working on blues improv with him and my playing has improved significantly since I started with him a few years ago. He is a genuinely nice person, funny and has a lot to teach you about guitar, regardless of your level. Extremely patient and flexible, teaches to what YOU want to do. I look forward to my lessons with him every week

Dan is a wonderful teacher! He’s patient, kind, and knows how to make people laugh. I took lessons with him for 4 years, and I always had so much fun. He makes the environment very relaxed, which I appreciated because learning guitar was intimidating at first. I learned so much; he’s an excellent guitar player. You won’t regret choosing him as a teacher!

I’ve been taking lessons with Dan since about 2007, and have not stop progressing in jazz/blues/rock and roll. And he makes it fun. A great instructor and easy person to get along with.

I have been taking lessons with Dan for many years now on and off. Time has come and gone for me. The number 1 reason why I keep coming back to Dan is because not only does he keep you on top of improving your playing, but he does so in a way that builds you from the most basic starting spot to a point in which you will ask yourself how you got to the point you’re at so quickly. 30 of getting better requires your own personal input on practicing and then 70 percent is having knowledge of where the next step is and how you go about getting there. That is where Dan comes into play and really motivates you and keeps your head up if you’ve had a rough week. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone from beginners to advanced!

Dan makes you feel so comfortable while learning something new. I’m the type of person to get nervous or embarrassed when I don’t do something well, but Dan is super patient and doesn’t make me feel bad when I mess up. He’a also super fun and makes learning the guitar exciting, which is should be!!! I don’t think there’s a single thing I don’t enjoy about my lessons with Dan. Seriously, if you’re thinking about learning the guitar, look no further because Dan the Guitar Man is your guy!
