About Danny
I am a freelance Audio Engineer, guitarist, bassist, and producer. I have played in live shows for over a decade including National tours like The Warped Tour. I have engineered for Gold recording artists including Rich Boy. I have been playing Bass in Jazz, Fusion, Pop and Rock groups for 12 years, and guitar for another 7 years. In school I was awarded the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award for performance in Bass guitar. I am currently a 5th year student at Northeastern finishing a Music Technology degree in 2021. After playing a lot, friends wanted me to teach guitar especially, and it started to get a lot of work. So i moved forward with my normal creative work while adding teaching for Bass, guitar, Ableton, and Pro Tools.
I have been privately trained in bass guitar, songwriting, and guitar for over 7 years. I also have almost completed (29 credits left) Northeastern's Music Technology program. I have also played in several touring groups, and worked at studios in Nashville, and Baltimore.

First we start with an overview of what the student knows about the instrument (or process in recording) and then we establish some short-term and long-term goals. After that I can create a road map using techniques, topics, and music the new student likes to help them move toward their goals!
Most of my students have been either friends (young adults 18-24) or smaller siblings of friends (7-15). Experience ranging from beginner to intermediate.
Make sure there is a connection, and that your teacher is someone who makes practicing fun.

Details
Yes, all online sessions are $20 per half an hour.
In person sessions are $25 per half hour, but I will do $45 for an hour if they want to book a full hour.
