About David
Best Guitar Lessons to quickly learn your favorite songs, licks, scales, and tricks. All skill levels and styles, but specialty is rock. The teaching techniques I use make learning guitar fun and take the mystery out of it to transform you into a great guitarist quickly.
I love people, I love guitar, I love teaching others and watching it enrich their lives (several students now earn their living playing guitar, with a few playing for national acts that you would likely recognize very quickly) and 1 student has actually been inducted Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame!
when I was 17 I won the Fender Guitars National Hot Licks Championship and started teaching professionally later that year. I'm 51 now so I've been doing it a long time.

Internet/web-cam. I ask students what their goals are/what they really want to learn and customize the lessons to the student. I teach theory, scales, finger dexterity, accuracy, and speed exercises for the first 1/3 to half of the lesson followed by teaching the songs/styles/techniques the student tells me they want to learn for the remainder of the lesson.

Details
$30 per lesson, lesson is generally 30 minutes but can go up to 45 minutes if the student is able to handle/retain that much information (most can barely handle the info included in 30 minutes - it's kind of like trying to drink from a fire hose - it's a lot to take in in that short amount of time and remember/get down enough to be ready move on to the next steps/"data download" by the next lesson, and I don't want to have to re-teach you the same things I've already taught you over and over.
