Adam is THE BEST! My 9-year old has been taking lessons from him for the last couple of years and LOVES playing. I truly believe that's because of her teacher! She's excelling in music, has learned a ton and gets to choose her own songs to learn (which is huge in the amount of time she spends practicing :) Most of all, he's super patient and REALLY GREAT teaching kids. Simply the best!

Adam is a excellent teacher! I have been wanting to play guitar since I was 15, finally got my chance at 26 lol. Anyways, I have been taking lessons from him since I left Guitar Center instruction back in march because of a lack of attention to detail to my actual improvement as a player, and simply put I couldn't be happier with my choice. He is the perfect teacher for me.

I got into guitar because my wife Phyllis is a drummer and her teacher recommended, Adam. I told him I wanted to learn funk and classic jazz from New Orleans, often a vacation place for Phyllis and I, and we’ve worked on everything from basic blues to now I’m working some James Brown. He helped direct me to getting a electric first because it could be setup to make it easier to play and learn faster on the instrument, and he helped show me figure out the right guitar for me. He’s been excellent since the beginning, a true professional.

First started with taking lessons with Adam about two years ago, when I decided I had the time to finally learn guitar. I was familiar before a bit on the workings of the instrument but definitely wanted a teacher this time. Well, needless to say, I was blown away, by just how versatile the guitar could be and do. Once we began our lessons and how detailed he would go into certain specifics about guitar or music in general, it just sparked my passion further! I take lessons 2-3x a week and we just dive into any and everything I come across and learn how it all works and that’s so much fun. As a result, I listen to music completely differently now and it’s awesome! As a teacher, Adam is very patient, diligent, charismatic and genuine.

But, what I admire most about him, is how important it is that he inspire’s me to grow my passion and succeed.

I began looking for guitar lessons in the DFW area a short while back and tried a few places like guitar center and SamAsh and though I learned some at those places I didn’t feel I was being challenged enough. I decided to try a few lessons with Adam, and he was able to craft together a lesson structure that has really helped my playing advance. I enjoy music from classic rock to metal and he has effectively developed a lesson regiment that has made playing those styles much easier and more fun. I really look forward to our lessons.

I have to say I feel Adam may be one of the absolute best guitar instructors in Dallas. His attention to detail and drive to teach is inspiring. He’s like a personal trainer for guitar. I have learned more in 2 months of lessons with him about technique and theory than I have in 10 years of playing on my own. Starting to play in my late 30's with no prior experience and Adam was able to help me play full songs in less than 8 sessions. He taught me how to dissect songs I wanted to play into smaller manageable segments. I now know all the open chords and most of the notes on the fret board. Adam also focused on proper posture and playing technique so that I don't develop bad habits that would hurt my lower back. There is so much value for the lessons that Adam provides. Will be back once I get an electric guitar.

Adam is awesome. He puts in the time and effort with each individual student to unlock all potential. Every guitar lesson I feel like I’m improving and Adam is always pushing me to do things I never thought possible. I would 10/10 recommend Adam to anybody looking to get better at guitar. I thought I was a decent guitar player before I started lessons but now I know I have so much to learn and gain, and I wouldn’t rather learn from anybody else.

As he analyzes your technique and posture, he develops a course of action to effectively and efficiently aid the problem areas while maintaining positive reinforcement to what is done correctly. Although still a ways off peak performance, I feel the investment in Adam is by far worth it, with outstanding results.

I've been working with Adam for the past 6 years. He keeps my guitar playing engaged and moving forward. I struggles with right hand picking technique for quite sometime and he was able to articulate quickly how to correct my technique so that it could develop further than I had been able to on my own. Adam has a unique ability of providing extremely helpful information while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. I've had lessons with teachers before that I felt considerable anxiety in because of their teaching style or playing level, and somehow Adam is able to be extremely capable but also inspiring. He truly cares about the progress of his students, and I feel truly motivated having him as a teacher.
