Keith is a wonderful guy. His patience is astounding. I am in my early 50's with no real musical experience and am now about 6 months into these lessons and have enjoyed the process very much. I'm not progressing terribly quickly which is entirely my fault due to it being difficult to make time to practice enough. His instruction is great and he will tailor lessons to your specific interests. It's unlikely I will ever become a rock star so the most important aspect of taking lessons for me is to enjoy the process and have fun. I think one of Keith's great strengths is his ability to read people and meet them where they are - I really enjoy going to guitar lesson every week even if I haven't practiced much. I always have fun and he's a cool guy to hang out with. If your desire is to learn and improve rapidly, Keith will have a plan for that too, and you will be challenged. He's generous with his time and a likeable person, and he has strong teaching skills and vast knowledge about playing the guitar. I don't think you could find a better person to learn from.

Keith teaches my 13 y/o son and his friend. He is really amazing with them and teaches them well. My son has not only learned a lot from him but he has learned to really listen to music and has developed a love of all things guitar

Keith is a great easy-going teacher who is very observant and sensitive to the needs of the student. He started me off by teaching me some simple chords and a 4-chord song that really impressed me and helped me get comfortable with fingering and strumming techniques. He then started incorporating music theory which I believe is a good way to do it. When I practice scales and patterns, and always go back to that first song because I'm getting pretty good at (and those who don't know any better think I've been playing for years). I love to end on a positive note - and that is exactly how Keith teaches.

Definitely Heartfelt and sincere. Playing became fun! Not tedious or boring but I looked forward to practice and to getting better.
