About Jacob
J-J's Guitar Lessons, is taught by students for students. Guitar players new and experienced, will be helped to the best of our ability. If you're having trouble getting a technique down, we will do all we can to help you get it down. As a final thought, we wont just teach you how to play guitar because, anyone can put the practice in and play a song or two. We will teach you how to use he guitar to express yourself, to create music and if you want to take it beyond that and become a teacher of a sort, we will help you achieve that goal as well. I started out teaching other students in my classes and frineds that wanted to learn guitar.
I've been playing guitar for 10 years, and have taken lessons myself, throughout middle and highschool.

Getting to know the student first and their playing capabilities.
Teaching the basics of the guitar (how it works, how to tune your guitar properly, how to change the strings on your guitar, the basic chord shapes and scale patterns, how to use those to write music, and how to breakdown learning new scales and techniques.)
There is nothing myself or any other guitar teacher can teach you, that you couldnt learn yourself. I'm here to teach you the best of what i have learned in my years of playing but also to guide you and push you to find your own musical taste and develop your own techniques to help YOU become the guitar player and or musician you WANT to be.

Details
The very first lesson is 10 dollars per hour, and if you like what you've learned and you like me as your teacher, and want to further your lessons the price goes up to 15 per hour.
