About Kwesi
I am a professional musician, producer, song writer and audio engineer based in the Los Angeles area. I am most proficient in piano and guitar but play bass, drums, and a couple other instruments as well. I've been fortunate enough to tour with many international acts and am now working full time as an audio engineer. My teaching styles blends a focus on technical proficiency and theory, as well as ear training, and improvisation. I use a holistic approach in order to help students gain a fundamental understanding of music so they can find their own unique sound. I have taught professionally for 11 years now and performed professionally for about 15. My greatest joy in teaching is the moment that everything begins to click for a student, and they are able to see how all of the basic and advanced principles of music relate to each other.
