Mark is excellent as a musician and teacher. He was very patient with me and helped me on my journey towards the learning experience with Chord Melody. I was able to record several CD's for my family and friends using his techniques . He spends a lot of time during each session to make sure you are learning correctly. I took Mandolin lessons from Mark for a number of years. Mark is an expert on the instrument, its history and the different styles of music that are played on the mandolin. Mark is always well prepared for the lesson and this added to the amount of ground we were able to cover at each lesson.

Their flexibility and range is phenomenal. This means if you tet them the night before and what to learn a new (to you) song, be it a Bach suite or Tin Pan Alley or Blues, etc., they will accommodate and still up your skill level. I come away from each lesson feeling I've learned something, not frustrated, and happy. The repertoire I've gained through their instruction packs three 3-ring binders! They are also Covid-friendly for in-person lessons or over zoom. As a multi year student, I highly recommend Handler & Levesque!

Mark is very patient and knowledgeable. He showed me chordal moves on the guitar that I never would have figured out on my own.
